How to Make Photo Slideshow with Titles and Music

First I recommend one DVD Slideshow Creator - Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder. You may notice that this is the dvd slideshow making software I am using. With it, you can easily put animated titles on slideshow video, and the music.

Photo Slideshow With Animated Titles

Like slide transitions making your slides smoothly and attractive, text effects could also live up your DVD Slideshow titles. Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder divides title duration into 3 parts, every of which could be assigned one text effects. Therefore, you could create animated titles for DVD slideshow.

Hollywood style scrolling titles are also available with Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder. You just need to adjust the direction and duration of slideshow title to make it scroll naturally. The ending credits are usually using such kind of effect.

Adding Titles to Slideshow

This section will explain how to add animated titles to slideshow with Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder. To add animated slideshow titles to slideshow, follow these instructions after you import photos/videos:

Step 1: Switch to Timeline view, in which double-click on subtitle track to bring up dialog for adding titles, edit title duration, sync titles with photo and music, and more.
Step 2: Input your desired titles in Text box, and make basic settings below text box.
Step 3: Click Entrance, Emphasis and Exit to select action, respectively, and specify effect, duration and direction for EACH action. The direction 0, 90, 180, 270 are generally similar to Left, Bottom, Right and Top.
Step 4: Move titles directly on preview window and preview whole animated title before saving.
Step 5: Return to Timeline and make some adjustment. Simply click to activate title thumbnail and hang cursor over title separator line (yellow vertical line), when double arrow appears, drag it to adjust duration of each action.

Since Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder supports two subtitle tracks so that more title effect could be achieved. For example, you can add another another title while one is playing, like the sample below.

Adding Multiple Songs to DVD Slideshow

Add your favorite music to make a wonderful DVD Slideshow. Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder allows you to add up to 128 pieces of music. No one will do so, although. Want to trim music. No problem. Just double click added music to open the editing dialog. Next, simply drag pointer to set start and end point.
Fade-in and Fade-out effects are also available. To apply, tick the check-box for each. Note that Fade-in and Fade-out effects only applied to the beginning and the end of DVD Slideshow.

Playing DVD Slideshow on TV/Computer/YouTube

Now what do you want to do with your slideshow with titles and music? You could either burn onto DVD and play on TV and computer, or save as video to share online and with friends and family.
  • To Burn DVD Slideshow

  • Ensure correct TV Standard are defined. If not, you can't watch your DVD Slideshow on TV as expected. Another frequently asked question may be the Disc type. But it's not a problem if you know well about what disc type is supported by your DVD burner. Note that United States use the NTSC TV standard, which is the default setting. If you are in United States, don't worry about the TV Standard thing, just burn your DVD slideshow with titles and music, and play it with your living room DVD player.

  • To Save slideshow as video

  • Save your slideshow with elaborate titles and music as video for later playing or share with other. Usually I will upload to youtube for worldwide sharing. If so, you are recommended to create video in MP4 format, which provides better quality and acceptable size. To change video settings, you could go to Options by clicking button in bottom left corner in Create tab. For example, go to Resolution to change the video size to larger. In fact, only change the settings when you know what you are doing.
